Thread: Where's the Defender wave gone?

It's alive and well in Dandenong and Narre Warren

I wave at other Defenders all the time and mostly I get one back, there are always the odd ones out who refuse to wave though so I send them a little virtual hug instead..

I recently was driving an Evoque for a couple of weeks and did a little experiment by waving to Defender drivers while I was out and about. Lots of surprised looks but no return waves. Are we Evoque snobs? Since I didn't get any return waves I do hope that all the drivers I waved at spent the rest of the day trying to work out who it was that waved at them

.. and for the record I often drive my Hubby's Disco and always wave at Defender drivers when in it also, the return rate is a little higher in the disco though - I contribute that to the fact that its bright yellow and kind of hard to miss lol..

I received a rather confused return wave from a puma 110, may have been because I was driving a G-Wagon though.

When I've seen these, at first glance I'm thinking LR anyway,,, but,, if you wave,, I'll definately wave I may even wave first. I see a black one down my way occasionally, and he always seems to be looking hard at me not sure if this is good or bad I'm going to wave at him next time

We were traveling south along the Pacific Hwy on Friday and got caught in some slow moving traffic. We were in the centre lane and there was a very decent looking white 02MY Defender on our left. As we approached and passed Kerry gave a very enthusiastic wave out the window and the miserable old sod gave a quick glance at us and then completely blanked us.
Was it something we did?
Some people just don't get it. I hope the fleas of a thousand camels infest his scrotum

People get very confused when I wave at them from the Mazda....

Same when I am on the motorbike, I get some very strange WT?? looks!
