Thread: Where's the Defender wave gone?

I got two Disco waves this morning on the way to work.

That must be a record, especially when I'm driving a D4, the others were equipped Disco 2s so that probably makes the difference.

I got my first defender wave the other day whilst driving my newly aquired RFSV and in the least expected location too driving down burke road in Camberwell wave was quickly returned

I drove 4 hours from Dubbo via Mudgee and Bells Line Of Road - no one to wave at. Mind you I was a bit preoccupied with learning to drive the 'Fender and just may have missed it - so if you waved at a Red 110 and he didn't wave back --> I apologise

I'm now driving a Range Rover L322. Don't be surprised if I wave at you.
Just have to sell the defender into a good home now.

I've been surprised by the number of waves I've received (and of course returned) in the L322. I still wave away in the L322 just as I do in the Defender. I'm always happy to see another Land Rover on the road no matter what I'm driving.:thumbup:

I always wave at Land Rover products and find it interesting that in the SIII FFR and Perentie FFR almost always seem to get waves , still often get them in the RRc but rarely when driving the D4. That's why I was so surprised the other morning.
