I've been getting plenty of waves in Brissie when driving the Defender recently.

Sometimes when I'm driving the D4, I wave at other D4's/D3's, but I don't think I've ever had a wave back, so I don't do it often.

I waved at a Deefer driver while I was in the D4 the other day. He waved back, but had a VERY confused look on his face!

    Cheers
    Sean

Haha, I always wave at all landrovers Defenders always return it, but look a bit nonplused if Im in the D2, D2 & D1 drivers mostly return it wether I am in the Deefer or the D2. Most D3/4/Rangie etc drivers either look very confused or carefully ignore it in case Im a potential road rage incident!!
    Cheers Scott

Wow! I'd love to get a Jaguar XF loan car while my Defender was being serviced. That would be cool!
I get lots of waves in the Defender and enthusiastically return them. Its like a secret society, like the Masons' handshake.

I sometimes miss driving my old D1, I would see defenders all over the place.

Now I have my TD5 Defender, in Bayside Brisbane I hardly see any Defenders.

All though, I got a nice wave from a guy on his bike the other morning, I was kind of shocked and missed waving back in time as he went past.

We always turn down the offer of a loan car as we don't really need it. I might have to reconsider next time and see what they're prepared to offer. I wouldn't turn down the opportunity to drive a Jag.

I Got one but that was when they were replacing a split fuel tank.
    Me too on the wave.
    Cheers, Billy.
    Keeping it simple is complicated.

See quite a few Defenders around the Springwood area on the south side. When we go to Maleny there are more up there too, usually dirty and dented. One bloke up there carts his calves around in the back of his 110 wagon. Imagine doing that in a Prado!

    Well I'm a little annoyed! ( I can't back that up)

Kerry and I were in Dayboro today and as we were waiting at the tee intersection I clocked a milky green Puma 130 towing a portable toilet coming along the road. 'Why aye' I said to Kerry which is my code for here comes a Defender. We both gave a vigorous wave as he passed. He just looked at us both with an opened mouth expression that screamed 'WTF are you two doing'

Anyway, I'm convinced that not only is he a miserable ****, but he's also a **** house driver.

My daughter's in Sydney at the moment for work and she sent me a text today that she'd seen lots of Defenders today.
