Got a nice wave and FLASH this morning from a 110 in Caringbah this morning. Not being much of a flasher myself, he did get a good wave in return![]()
I only wave to Defenders & proper Land Rovers (leafers) never get a return wave from one of the comfy models, the Puma return rate is about 50%
anybody tried going to the web address on the bottom of above sticker
www.nlrk.no
very interesting, use Google chrome and it will translate Norsk to English for you

I find it the opposite.. I wave but don't always get a wave back from the older Defenders.. tonight I was along side a Blu 110 but despite my best efforts the driver was determined to not wave back..
Oh and I emailed the company from the sticker but the guy who replied said no one in the office there knows anything about the sticker so it must be a very old one.. he promised to make some enquiries and get back to me..![]()
Yes we need similar stickers here BUT
The wave should be OUT the window (lack of elbow room and window will be down anyway)
Graphics should somehow impart the impression of a wave rather than a Nazi salute !
Meter needs to be spelled properly metre
For further instructions but should be removed and replaced with a plug for aulro.com
aulro logo.
Someone with good computer skills should do a mock up.
It coudl really take off -could distribute them through LR dealers and repairers around Australia on a 50:50 profit split, proceeds toward AULRO running costs.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I got some good waves last Sunday 2 defenders going nth out of Melbourne in convoy, I assume they were with a Disco in front. And on the way back with a trailer load of round bails I got overtaken by a p-plate red county. All with exceptional waving ability.
Easo
You guys are being unnecessarily hard on the whole "Puma Drivers" issue.
I'd still say 90% of Puma owners are long time Land Rover people and mostly 90/110 and Defender drivers. I've never had a deliberate non-return of a wave from a Puma driver (had those from grumpy series drivers!). Now and then you've got a startled newbie (WA plates show vehicle age quite clearly), but the shared "Defender Grin" usually gets a response.
I agree there is no harm in briefing people at the vehicle handover what the etiquette is should they be new to the marque, but most of the small minority quickly cottons on to what's going on!
On a slightly different matter, our contract specialist (disguised lawyer) didn't even know that her new Evoque and my Defender 90 are the same marque...!![]()
Keep waving!
Cheers,
Lou
