It was and still is the Australian bush wave.
I get it from every driver out there , especially Toyota drivers.....can you believe that?
Enthusiasts of all marques have done it for decades.

Neerly everyone waves I find. Although I can't imagine why waving with a single middle digit has become so popular.

Keeping it simple is complicated.
We waved at a woman driving a Perentie in Richmond (NSW) yesterday. She was struggling to get it into gear I think. She didn’t wave back, maybe because the wife and I were walking!
