Well, since you put it like that tote we must mostly be bloody cracked in the head & Bonkers.

I guess that is what the book "They are a weird mob" (Nino Culotta. NDP) was all about & not the observations of an Eyetie Brickie(?) or Builder's Laborer about Land Rover Owners back in the '50s with it being a fillum in 1966.

As I suspect you know - the author was neither an immigrant nor Italian! His actual name was john O'Grady.

It never was the defender wave.

It was and still is the Australian bush wave.

I get it from every driver out there , especially Toyota drivers.....can you believe that?

Enthusiasts of all marques have done it for decades.

    Certainly not exclusive.

Yep. I even have Triton drivers stop for a chat offroad at times. Not as social (so many of them) as LR drivers though. Cheers

Neerly everyone waves I find. Although I can't imagine why waving with a single middle digit has become so popular.
    Cheers, Billy.

We waved at a woman driving a Perentie in Richmond (NSW) yesterday. She was struggling to get it into gear I think. She didn’t wave back, maybe because the wife and I were walking!
    Cheers
