    Hello again Mr Scott OZ,

Just search ebay UK for Land Rover MOD tools, or more specifically: Land Rover pick axe and shovel. From there you will find the goodies.

At least that is what I did, although it was about twelve months ago. The fittings are mostly just pressed tin with rivet holes and webbing straps for the tools. They more than do the job. As I said I just copied Tomb Raider and Brit Army vehicles. Took the almost brand new bonnet off while Wifey was out put in our bedroom and drilled and riveted after much deliberation and beer swilling. Bermabright fillings everywhere and the sick smell of nail polish to seal up the scars.

Re: the bonnet wheel holder, it works as advertised and has survived tortuous NT roads even countless trips down corrugated "smash-your-susssspension" Gunn Point road. Only one depression/ nick in the acoustic engine cover-that's why it's there isn't it. It's a good bit of kit and I would recomend it to all. E@OE.

Then there are the UK ones fitted to the Wolf vehicles. These are made of buckles that loop over the handles of tools and hold them tight. An example can be seen here. LANDROVER 90/110 ARMY WOLF FULL TOOL FITTING KIT (NEW) | eBay These can be had new.

The Aussie army gal ones are best IMO but the beauty of a Defender is that you have some choice.
That the chap I got my pick head mount from. Paul is a nice chap and very helpful. I can't remember where the shovel parts came from though. 120 pound is too much though in IMO. I sourced my bits piecemeal - cause I am a tight arse.
