I have a 1.4 m Wind Cheetah on my D90. Stops just before the sun hatch. I have found it more that large enough for what I want to carry on the roof.
What I particularly like about the Wind Cheetah is the optional stainless steel table that slides underneath. You can see the rails into which the table slides in the photo. The rack has slightly longer legs to allow for the table.
Mine's a Hannibal which perioidically carries the roof top tent. It's extremely quiet and does not seem to adversely affect fuel consumption. Not cheap but good. Note the way that the load is spread along the length of the roof gutter.
I've got the 2.0m Wind Cheetah with the optional shorter legs (I had headroom limits when I was back in Perth). The system is modular and the channels in the cross slats are designed to accept a near unlimited list of accessories. I can’t remember if yours has a sunroof, which would make KarB’s setup more suitable. I personally prefer the longer rack purely because of my list of occasional equipment.
My current setup is 2 double jerry can racks, a spare wheel mount (Pilbara living – only a fool set off out without the second spare!) and 8 eyelets for ratchet strapping all and everything additional down. I considered the slide-in table, but you require the longer leg setup for that and the lower profile was more important to me.
I’m not a vendor and I have no affiliation to any either, but I’ve had Front Runner roof racks for many years and I can honestly vouch for their strength, quality, durability and functionality.
I am going for the wind cheeta the 1936 x 1380 size. Curiously they dont say this is to fit a 90 in the Dolium web page but when you go to the picture there it is on a 90. Takes up the whole roof and with roof top tent fitted still allows around 650 x 1380 mm of space for jerrys swags etc. see pic below of a 2m rack on the 90.

Reason: add picture
That's the one I've got fitted. I've just opted for the shorter legs.
You can just see the base of the RHS jerry can mounts on the rear corner. It also comes with a wind deflector plate in the front centre to eliminate wind noise.
Dolium advertises the shorter one as bespoke 90 as you can more easily exceed Land Rover's max roof weight with the longer one. I've always had the 2.0m (1936mm) one for jerries and rooftop tent (folding forward and a shortened ladder resting on the bulbar)
Another recommendation for spending the extra and getting the Hannibal. We have the full Hannibal setup and love it. I went without for a long time, but it was worth saving up for. The quality and look is superb.
Sadly while I work this week the wife is away camping in the RTT.

Thanks everyone.. I really like both the Hannibal and the Wind Cheetah racks but hubby (aka the one with the dollars) has decided that he will make it himself (we are in the manufacturing business so have the facility to do it).. I have seen the design he has done and I quite like it.. watch this space..
Sue,I have the 110 X-Tech but I'm taking a different route,I'm going to rivet alloy rectangle tubing down the roof and fit a safari roof off a series LR to it and then alloy flat bar down it as roof runners. The body will be Nara Bronze with a black roof, then a nara bronze safari roof with black runners,it'll look really good.
