Stuck!!!! Fuel pump acces hole placement

Morning all, Got a fuel pump screaming like a banshee. New one arrives at 9am tomorow . I need advice on where to start cutting an acces hatch/hole and how large.(120 liters of fuel so I don't want to drop the tank) I can see the hoses running into a recess in the brown Davis or tank but I'm not shure of the location of the pump and size of hole ...... Suggestions ? ( it looks to be in. The same location as the ome tank )
    Cheers mark in Copley
( ps it's running fine once started ... Starting is becoming an issue though)

How many k's has your pump done?

Those are the same measurements that I used (2004 110)
but i'd probably go another 10mm toward the front of the car

be careful as you can catch the fuel lines with the saw,
Also there are some support braces that you need to cut thru,

I did not like the idea of cutting all the way thru the steel brace so just scalloped it , hopefully its enough to jiggle the pump past if I ever need it.

You may need to make up one of these tools to make undoing the clamping ring a bit easier in the confined space.
Knob on top is actually an old 1/2 inch drive socket.

All good , pump in at 9 am today... With brown Davis tank I had to cut more to the filler side by around 3 inches.... Seems they place it differently .also had to grind of a tab on pump rim ,and they use an o ring not the rover seal
    Thanks all
