Just got home last night from a few weeks over seas, my window arrived while I was away. Haven't had a chance to open the box yet, but just wondering what the problem was/is with isuzurover's window?

    Cheers

The main issue was that one had been damaged in transit.
The paint finish was also not as good as I expected.

They have both been returned at the supplier's cost to be rectified. Thanks again Daniel for the prompt action!

I was the first order to be shipped, so I think Daniel got in in time to make sure the QC on the remainder was up to scratch.

Overall they seemed to be a great unit and solid (for the 24 hrs they were in my posession). I am looking forward to getting them back - hopefully soon!

Another old thread that might give some more ideas on this topic.

    Replacing side windows with doors-110

I personally like the style of lock but not the smaller window.

I have had no issues with mine. They have been in use for six years.

Finally got around to opening mine over the weekend, it looks like a decent unit. The paint work on mine does have one or two spots that could be a bit better, but I don't think it'll be that noticable. Given that it's going on a car with plenty of scratches and dents already, I'm not too concerned!

Not sure when I'll get around to fitting it (I'm very good at procrastinating so it could be a while!), but I'll post some pics when I do.

    Cheers

    Job done.
Took a little longer than expected as the drawers and window boxes had to come out in order to get the inside plastic trim around the window off.
    Pretty happy with the result.
Now need to get the Sikaflex off my fingers (the frame is only glued in - no rivets).
Now probably need to get the windows tinted as the original LR windows have a slight green tinge whereas the new pop-up has a grey/brown tinge.

    Nice.

Any chance of a pick showing the rest of your setup in the back? Looks custom?

AFAIK series hardtops had the windows fitted in AU. They are smaller than the opening of a 110 window, so it would be no problem to remove the existing window and cut the openings larger to fit one of these.
