Been wondering how much fitting cruise control would be to a 90 TD5 for awhile, thanks to this forum and finding out how easy it was I gave it a go. I was given a cruise control switch off a D1 from a mate, £1 for the ECM connectors and wiring, half a days work and the old girl now has cruise control

Yes ned do tell please. Did all your reading hint it could be done to a Tdci.

From what I could tell its not easy on anything after a TD5, the ecu is all set up for it but after the TD5 its all canbus.

MLR 'don't know' if they can fit a cruise control on my MY12 110! They actually suggested calling the car audio place next door!
Rittters in Burwood quoted $1200 for a TerraFirma kit.

Has anyone else put a cruise on a 2.2 Puma?

oh wow!

should this work this a early td5? (01 or pre flash-able ecu?)

EDIT:
after a little bit of googling it seem like only the later (02 onwards) defenders work with the disco cruse control
