Anyone Know Where To Get One Of These

I would like to set the rear of my vehicle up with a swing away rear wheel carrier and just a lower swing out rear door like the one pictured. Any ideas who sells the carrier and door assembly?

    Regards Warrick.

Not specifically that one but Rijidij does a rear swing away arm for the Defender.
Might be worth getting in touch with him

    G'day Warrick,
That looks identical to the one sitting on the floor in my shed. I'll flick you a PM with my phone number if you're interested in it.
    Cheers

    Hi Warwick,
The door is a home made jobbie. Get yourself a rear door at the wreckers and chop the top off. Rivet a cap on and done.

I am assuming it was a 110 troopy so they just cut the door. Good idea and easy to do as the capping would cover the cut if it was a bit dodgy

I thought it might have been the way it was done but it is such a good idea that I was hoping it could be purchased as an aftermarket mod. Looks like I need to find a rear door from the wreckers.

    Regards Warrick.

I have no photos sorry, but I did this on my first Land Rover in the UK, a Series 2 Truckcab. I used a UK 'Swingaway' wheel carrier and a modified tailgate as it looked better than a chopped door! Good luck!
