They'll be more than half way home when they get to Ceduna and it would be shorter for them to miss Adelaide altogether - from Port Augusta they can go direct via Burra, Mildura and along the Murray Valley Hwy to home.

Tell them to stop & take a look the Australian Farmer sculpture in Wudinna (on the main highway between Ceduna & Port Augusta) - heaps better than any big galah or big prawn.
