I am of the same opinion, I prefer if it is someone local and in my case here in Melbourne.
I was talking to Ritter Automotive the other day and they reckon they can do it with up to 50% gains in power but I don't think they realize it is a 2.2. Am dropping the new 110 in two weeks to install winch and other bits and will ask again.
Reluctant to argue with your man Bruce Davis, but I think he's wrong on this one if he's really of the opinion that the 2.2 Defender is not a Puma...

Look under Puma as well as lower down on "2.2" and you'll see the 2.2 is there as a Defender Puma engine. It is modified and refined, but its still a Ford Duratorq Tdci 16v "Puma".
The 2.2 SD engines optional in Freelanders and Evokes are different, but that's a completely different topic...
