Having shared campsites with Ian (aka Mools) on a few occasions, i'd say he wasn't trying to be disrespectful to Daniel/Mulgo, just an odd turn of words from someone who speaks funny English

    Love the post!

I meant to post when I first took hold of the defender. First week it was
    3 pairs of short v defender 0

Love that it happens to others also. Sorry about your jeans. Belt loops are easy fodder. It's the absolute shellacking they have the shorts I hate most

    Where's this anomosity come from?

Babs Mulgo door retainers are a ponced up version of the x-eng ones - have you lactually looked at both types? Do you know what ponced up means?

Sorry to hear that mate. I used a ruler and have had no problems but then again I did my own R&D, unlike some people on the internet.

Mools no animosity here, just sounded like a negative for Mulgo just clarifying how good his service is. All good

I think I was just unlucky as the wires were shorter than the rubber protective boot so unless you checked the tension inside the boot you would have never known ruler or no ruler but then again maybe the puma is different from the TD5.......

Point being Daniel does put a lot of R&D into his products and stands by them.....

Like a few others on here, I made my own rear door extenders. 200Tdi Defenders are equipped with longer stays funnily enough.

I've only ever caught belt loops in the front and always on shorts, as I dont wear long pants much. Must look into a set of X-Trousers

Our X-Trousers turned up this week, haven't fitted them yet, but after getting caught several times I thought these are a good buy. In regards to difficulty fitting a tip I read was drawing around the existing riser block before you remove it.

Also is it just me or is this thread discussing two completely different things? Door extenders let the rear doors on a 110 open wider? X-Trousers are the smoother latch so you don't get hung up getting in and out.

I can't let a hattrick opportunity go begging....

What about the seat back adjuster... I am always getting caught by it and now the plastic cover is AWOL.
