Hi all ,

2008 SVX 110 , needs some new suspension. She's done a heavily loaded Simpson , hay river , finke desert track and many loaded Vic Highcountry trips on stock suspension ( have HD 130 springs in front )

Tell tale signs are , sagging rear and really knocks loudly when going over speed humps or hitting little bumps in the road ( like those ones on the monash when they have joined sections of road ) its bothering me , as when I get into my 92 Vogue classic , that is perferctly plush and quiet and I don't think my deefer was always like it is now.

Been looking at full air replacements ( firestones , plenty of threads related on this forum - sounds too complex for me ) but it dawned on me tonight when I drove the family to dinner in the RRC , why can't I get that ride in my deefer ? Its uses Bilsteins and King springs installed by LRA. So interested to know if that is a simple easier soliton than all the work that seems to go into the full air approach.

Main usage is on road , but I do like to load up with camping gear every few months and head up to the mountains or down the coast. I'm not really pushing the envelope with towing or weight or even extreme off road. More touring with occasional tough off road.

I plan on putting some larger 255/85/16 tyres with -25 offset rims on . This might soften the ride somewhat , but keen to hear from anyone who has their puma's suspension sorted out so that it rides well unloaded ( like a good RRC ) and can handle a load when required.

Thanks
