I added an Anderson plug to the rear for air compressor and fridge and a wind cheetah roof rack. Thats about it.

I have a 110 so am looking a some rear corner protection, possibly a bullbar, and more of a want than need some torsen lsds front and rear.

    Enjoy your new ride!
    Glenn,

I'm with you on the "Try standard before you buy concept". People tend to upgrade and change for the sake of just to find the mod doesn't really suit their application.

The seating is really personal preference. I drove 90's for near on 12 years in the standard seating position (and I was happy doing so) until I tried the driving position in a mate's car with the rails fitted and I loved it.

BTW I can recommend the Terrafirma corner bumperettes if you are looking. Bit of a pain to fit on the 90, but the 110 is absolutely straight forward and the diagonal strips following the aluminium down gives excellent protection. Link on what they look like, but I got mine from Devon 4x4 in the UK.

    Question

    G'Day Lou.
Mate, what is the problem in fitting these to a "90", as I note that Terrafirma do make a specific item for the "90". Ours will be fitted with the chequerplate corners & I was actually wondering whether this would be an issue?
    Regards, Pickles.

    Hi Pickles,

They are very well made and specific for the 90, but with one big issue for me at least.

They are not compatible with the 90's mud flap brackets. You'll note that all pictures on websites showing the Terrafirma bumperettes on a 90 is without the mud flaps. This is not the case on a 110 as the mud flap is weel forward from the cross member.

I posted a tread on the modification I made to the mud flap bracket and how it interfaces with my bumperettes (see the cut away on the bracket on the third photograph). The modification received mixed response from the forum, but it works fine for me.

    Melting Mudflap.

The checker plate corners won't affect it as its mounted to the cross member and comes round the corner about 20mm from the bodywork. Lots of space for the checker plate...

    Cheers,

    Lou

Ive just got a really bad feeling about the behaviour of the dealers. They never told me there would be a delay. I rang to see if they were still on schedule for Sept and they had "forgotten to tell me"....

This is only the second dealing I have had with the dealer and they have let me down both times. Im impressed with the vehicle, but really worried about future dealings if the dealers are so bad.
