Noise from footwell ABS
I always seem to get a noise which I think may be the abs/traction control happen when I go over abrupt bumps. It kinda sounds like a rattle snake.
How often should this happen?
It seems pretty sensitive.

Mate,
Mine is a 2010 Tdci 90 and it does the same. The moment the weight is lifted off one wheel (like a bump or a bad joint in the asphalt) the TC does the ABS sound, although the Puma's is more of a grunt (most probably a high frequency rattle as you described it).
I don't imagine the 110 and 130 guys would get it as 90's are prone to bounce or "porpoise".
I understand the 2.2 has a more refined TC system that has less "false" activation. Chances are that they've just continued to be refined through the ongoing years.
Cheers,
Lou

Thanks Lou,
I also sometimes get the rumble when I'm going down a hill and using the engine braking.
The ABS and traction control is definitely not as refined as the Disco 4 I owned. ;-)
