Carlos, who are "they"? - Lucky8 or the Chinamen? What type of locker/ lsd is that for $480? And you're still gonna need to upgrade axles or you'll snap them just when you want to use the locker for a difficult section.
    cheers Gerald

    Who's that from?

so it'd basically be less the $800 for front and rear lockers with everything you need!

Looking at that Lucky8 locker sale, a Truetac style in the front and back would be nice and for only 488 each!

I've heard those trutraks can still slip, true?

Sorry RR, I'm not that knowledgeable in that area but you can bet your left one, someone here will step up with an expert opinion. I just thought you ought to look at the link to the locker sale as an alternative for similar money. I believe those trutracks are still quite sensational and your wheels will probably start slipping before they do and I know isuzutoo-eh (Mark) has one or a Detroit or Ashcroft LSD in the front and he's basically unstoppable. Perhaps PM him
(he's a top guy) and ask his opinion or Lowranger (Wayne) is also very knowledgeable.

Who needs tagging when ears are burning?
As Gerald (Didge) says, I have an Ashcroft ATB in the front of my 110, it is virtually the same as a trutrack. They are a geared style limited slip diff, so they do slip, and being geared rather than clutch they can never fully lock (but never need adjusting either!), and they definitely do increase traction substantially. Before I had a rear locker (Detroit no-spin) and not long after getting the ATB I was driving up a rock face and had the driver's front miles in the air and left rear barely weighted-spinning like a top. The front left had plenty of traction and the old 110 walked out of it on account of the ATB's torque biasing. Fantastic bit of kit, allows full steering control, preserves CVs and axles, but increases traction very well.
I like to think of it as equal to traction control across an axle. I'm sure some will argue against that though!

I can understand your reluctance to spend a lot on your basher, my 110 has at least its purchase cost again in modifications and accessories never mind repairs...

P.S. best bang for buck is easily a Detroit No-Spin (autolocker) in the Salisbury diff, cheap to buy, cheap to install if you can't do it yourself, and a massive boost in traction.
