I hope it's a good supprise unlike the BBQ bottle with hose down the airbox to prove diesel gas doesn't work one. Pat

You might want to take your blinkers off and re-read all that Pat.
It wasn't to prove it didn't work, because as a power-adder it does work. It was to prove all the nasty side effects. Which it did. Perfectly.
If you can detonate lpg in a cold idling diesel, then it's sure detonating under load.

I thought you'd be in 100% agreement with that. Afterall, if landrover didn't do it factory it must be rubbish? Right Pat?

Of course not. Everyone here knows your landrovers are super-awesome and never have any problems.

    Completely wrong there Pat.
Isuzu are running dedicated CNG engines with spark plugs: http://www.isuzu.com.au/media/48181/...ng_ark0693.pdf

This has nothing in common with whatever system you've paid through the nose for.

Check out the compression ratio. 11.3:1. That's a safe compression ratio for a turbocharged engine running CNG.
CNG of course has far higher knock resistance than LPG also.

After I got the original BAS remap in 2011, I noticed a general decrease in EGTs in every operating condition. Of course, this does not apply if you try to put foot out of the power band.

The EGTs were lowered further when I removed the cat and got an Allisport intercooler fitted.
