Yah - settled on a 2010 D130 dual cab chassis

Just bought a 2010 D130 dualcab chassis (subject to finance). The box on the back is not included. I get the rest with the tipper removed.

The project begins. First thing is a tray and a cover of some sort to protect the camping equip. If money extends before xmas i'll bolt in my spare ATB in the front and e-locker in the rear.

Next year's list is to get rid of the awful side steps for a set of Mulgo steps, swap the non-winch bar for a winch bar + winch and a slide on canopy set up for touring trips. If the wife lets me keep the 110 and the 130 I'll stop at that. If the 110 is ordered to go I'll swap over the front locker, suspension and other goodies.

Just need someone on the forum to come up with a permanent solution for the lifting a Puma syndrome.

I love the Keswick Green. The wheels are a treat as well. They might not be as strong as the wolf rims but look much better and allow me to go to 255/85 without rim width concerns. Yes, i'll need spacers for clearance and turning circle.

Very chuffed with myself. Now the tough bit, telling the wife what i did.

Nice work MLD. Here is some hope for you.
I have a 2010 130. I have a 2" lift in the front, and 1.5 in the bum. Standard drive shafts, actually even shorter in the rear die to the Salisbury I put in. No vibrations, no binding, and done 50K on the lift now. Don't know why, but it is possible.

Build it first, do the suspension last.

Congrats Mark and welcome to the 130 fraternity
Those wheels wouldn't last one trip without being scratched to the ****house
I see it has a few mods as well, power to the rear and free flowing exhaust, and a reversing camera,I hope you are allowed to keep that
Funny thing is,it says it is Stornaway Grey!!!

did you negociate the box out of the deal. That was used as a selling point in the ad?

Hi Wayne, the only thing to be removed is the tipper and hydraulic pump (so i'm told). The rest is mine. I shod the 110 yesterday with a new set of KM2 muddies on disco 1 black steelies. I could swap over the steelies for trips that might result in rim damage.

Banjo-Plucker - I called half a dozen tray manufacturers to enquire about a swap for a tray. The best I was offered was $500 sight unseen for the tipper. The inconvenience of having an unwanted tipper, the need to store if I couldn't sell it and the fact that once off the truck it was a PITA to move (thus requiring someone with a crane and flat bed to take away) I was happy for it to be removed. The negotiations were based on other aspects of the truck and the tipper was sundry. I bought it at a significant discount to the advertised price but by the time i put a tray on the back any discount received for the tipper will be consumed by the cost of a tray.

Still haven't told the wife. Not sure if the best way to do it is by a bow on the bonnet when it's in the drive or mention it in the same breath when I tell her her anniversary present is a gooden.
