I do not know if it changed with the 2.2 but the 2.4 has intermittent wipers, it is just not adjustable, I changed the relay for the type 99 one that allows you to program the interval. I find it really useful and use it all the time. There is a post on defender2 about adding the old relay to the rear window wiper to make that intermittent, but then I do not think the 2.2 has one anyway

    Arrow LIST UPDATED

    New UpDated Wish List
Hello All you Defender Owners, i'm putting up my wish list in the hope for any advice you may wish to give a new Defender Owner I'll go from front to back sorta.

A Front Bar something much stronger than the paper thin one they come with, I'm not really a Big Bull Bar type of guy just not sure what's out there on offer or who to buy from. Something like the Basic D44 Front Bumper.

Having taken one for a test drive on Thursday the car did feel very soft & a little spongy when breaking so on the wish list is Koni Raid90's up on the front only i'm thinking the back should be fine i travel light anyway. So what do you think

Rock/Tree Sliders (1) for Side Impact Protection (2) from Grots who slam doors up against other cars with no care (3) for what the are designed for protect from Rock & Tree rubbing up agains the 4B, OR have someone make em for me i'm guessing chassis mounted is the best option.

Snorkel, this one is easy the Metal Snorkel

Cruse Control, again not sure what's out there on offer

Intermittent Rain Wipers, from memory reading threads hear. Buy it from a VW Wreckers, Model No: not sure guess i'll need to read em all again.

Floor Matts, any one type that offers better Lips on the sides to holds dirt mud sand ect.. i guess.

Spare White HD Steel Rim & Tyre

    Water Storage

More Fuel Storage (it is a D90)

    Do i need a AirCompressor?

    Anderson Plug

    1or2 12v Cigaret Plugs

    CargoNet

    Donalson Snorkel Head

Do i need a Eaton eLocker (after warranty expires)

Do i need a better/extra Fuel filtration system?

Do i need a Duel Battery system?

Exhaust Wrap, will this help to reduce Heat?

    Gullwing Windows

Rust Protection (Penetrol & Wax Stuff)

    Shekels for the Front

    TowBar Shackle

Do i need any of the Underbody Protection

    Do i need a Winch

What's this all going on a my14 Land Rover Defender 90 yet to be collected once they are finished making it, just for me

So any advanced advice will be appreciated & i promise to put up Pics once i've collected it & put my "wish list" on it. Regards Rick.

    Arrow DIFFERENTIAL Covers

ARB make a (Red or Black) Diff Cover but not for LR Defender Diffshttp://www.arb.com.au/products/arb-a...b-diff-covers/
What others options are out there for our Defenders that replace the cover rather than plate over the STD cover Links with images would be great

Had an Autron on the 110 and it worked well. Went with the Command 900 this time and it is excellent...and the fitter didn't spend the whole time whinging about how hard it was to fit.

They have also done a lot better job mounting the pad controller as well which appears rock solid. The Autron one which was also fixed with double sided tape kept coming loose and I eventually had to do some surgery to fix it.

Do you want to pretty them up or protect them?

You need to be a little clearer in your line of questioning

There's crap loads of bolt on diff guards out there if protection is what your are chasing:QT, Terra Firma, APT Fabrications, Bearmach, Dolium, White Tiger, etc...
