You would have to tick every box on the options list, including Recaros, to qualify for LCT, and even then just get the accessories paid for on a separate invoice and/or tell the dealer to sharpen their pencil.

Just passing on what my dealer advised. My defender with accessories was $62k and that would have done it. Doing it seperately I avoided that.
Is it just for me, or does the Mulgo/Expedition Centre, have ridiculous shipping costs.
Anyways, placed an order for a Defender, due to be delivered around about July. I have about a week to contact the dealer to confirm the build details, and what accessories I would like. I was quoted $672 for side runners and $745 for a snorkel (both plus gst), so at this stage I may cancel them two accessories because I am sure I can find cheaper alternatives. I also got the Partial Leather Pack (which is partial leather seats all round plus leather steering wheel).
So just need to confirm the factory fitted accessories now, the dealer fitted can wait. The Sunhatch seems tempting, but could just be some crap (not even electric)...
The hatch is very good No leaks, tinted and can be removed entirely no electrics to go wrong and good to leave open if its a sunny parking spot to let hot air escape and the smell of chips if your not meant to be eating them when your out on your own shopping !
Thats interesting, because even the Dealer said they leak a little....
Hmm, I was just looking at Daniels ExBox and checked how much for delivery too.
Cost for postage to me would be $11.95.
That is cheaper for delivery than what it would cost me to drive there and pick it up and drive back home.
Edit; just checked same item delivered to (say Karratha 6714) postage cost $166.95, sounds fair to me.
Try importing parts and equipment from overseas and see how quickly the postage costs add up.....
Actually I saved a fair amount of money by buying from the UK a lot of my accessories, they were cheaper (including freight) than buying through some other parts places here in Australia with premises in 4 states....
So I would hazard a guess that it depends on where you are located and how big or heavy the package is, as to how expensive it is for postage.
Anyways, a few weeks ago I installed one of his rear door gas strut kits, very happy with the way it works and very easy to install.
Every one I speak to about his products only has good things to say about them.
Mike.
The drink bottle holders seem good also......
Specwarop,..CONGRATULATIONS on your order.
Have you considered, Cold climate pack?..(heated seats, screen etc), Front ribbed undertray?, SINGLE rail (black) side steps?
Which wheels?, I like the "dual finish"..they have Defender logo on them?
Can't remember if you mentioned the colour & roof colour?
Anyway, well done. Pickles.
