Thread: gauge readings on td5

Hi all
I had a water and oil temp and a turbo boost gauge installed on my td5.

Just wondering what the acceptable temp readings should be. Also what boost figures do I need to keep an eye on. At present if I give it stick the boost gets up to 19.
Normal driving between 15 & 17 max.

Boost cut is just over 19psi so your just under boost cut.

Running temp should be 82 degrees minimum as thats the opening temp of the termostate but there are a couple of different themostates. How hot you want to let it go is up to you but I have my alarm set at 95 degrees. Thats very conservative but I very very rarely hit that.
