Whats the price difference betwwent the ashcroft ones and terrafirma? I think for the price terrafirma are ok but just use sealant almost looks like the whole o ring was an after thought to be the same as the competition. I've done some good amount of wading in mine and checked a couple of time and nothing is getting in still nice clean grease from when I packed them.

The originals were letting my diff oil turn into a milkshake with the poxy rubber cap acting like a diff breather or straw depending how you look at it let alone the masses or back lash

    Ashcroft's are spendy... £90.00. TF from paddocks £25.50 (exc.VAT)
    £30.60 (inc.VAT).

You could buy the TFs, some sealant, and a few at the pub for the Ashcroft's. But damn, when I put the Ashcroft's on, my 110 felt happier. And they look sexy. hahaha

It also solved the majority of slop in my drivetrain. I put 'em on with the paper gaskets, and tightened them without any sealant. No leaks.

    .
I bought some hytuff engineering ones (took over from Maxidrive) from Rangie Spares for $140 each. Best of all is that they are Australian! No waiting to get parts from UK!

On the Ashcroft and the Maxxi, does the o ring sit in a groove on the flange or in the cap.

When I fitted new M/drive flanges the other day there is no way the o ring would seat, kept squeezing out. Had a look & there isn't a recess for it??? So the o/r ended up in the "odd o/r tin" & I sealed the thread with good gasket type silicon & tightened the nut "tight" so far all good

My maxi flanges have no oring just some sealer on the threads boring old black max on the thread will seal it up fine. I think the oring is on others is just to give people the warm and fuzzies

Sorry, it's started snowing... Had to clear the garage. And the pic didn't upload. Will post later today from my laptop.
