I was driving this morning when a Ford towing another Ford on a trailer had the ratchet straps, the type you buy at super crap,4 for $20 snap and it rolled off the trailer, the rear wheels locked solid and smoking like hell and I didn't know which way to go so drove straight and the driverless LTD? took a left turn on shoot off into the bush,a couple of days ago a couple in there 70's took a flying doctor trip after they rolled when the caravan came off the hitch, apparently a very common insurance claim. Someone who will remain nameless (not on AULRO AFAIK) came to a car show with a P38a on the back of a hire trailer towed by a Commodore. The only thing that held the P38 on the trailer was the gearbox in park and the hand brake!
Never the less in spite of the illegal nature of the tow'ee and tow'er vehicles, I wouldn't let it leave without the tow'ee being strapped down to the trailer.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

i have a long stretch of road near my house in WA, Franklin road out the back near wangara. so many idiots giving it **** and overtaking on bends and crests, the majority of them seem to be younger blokes in commodores. i dont drive down that road at night for that reason... mind you i use to own a 360hp vl turbo and i never drove like that down those roads, just not worth it.
