That dear sir is an oxymoron. You have a bunch of Landies a fast flowing river, add a group of young lads and you expect them to do what exactly?

    Hi,
the camera work and lighting were excellent, and the whole thing put Hollywood special effects out to dry.
    Cheers

This crossing just out of Canberra was closed recently for flooding, I crossed it at 800mm with a bloody fast current because I had to.. Was over the bonnet, but the 130 was stable and did it day on day..don't be a nag because blokes use their defenders as they were meant to be doing..that's why I drive a defender, not a hilux..

Heh... have done similar depth in a non-snorkeled puma 110 DC (mine). So long as you don't stop and keep a sensible the bow wave up - the bow wave water washes over the bonnet nearly to the bottom of the windscreen, but at the sides of the front guards the water swirls lower than the stock air intake.

Went through a flooded underpass getting my 6yo lad home from some after school activity recently - scenario as above. After passing he said "...Wow! lets DO IT AGAIN, Dad!" So we turned around and went back through, then turned and went back through again to get home.

Admittedly this was a very easy fording, smooth level road base, hardly much current, about 25-30m long tunnel... pity the water wasn't clear and clean tho.

Quick hose later at home to get the clay and small sticks and leaves etc out of the grill and such.... right as the rain that caused the floods.

You might have done it once or more and got away with it to brag but you are still pushing your luck
