I am in the UK at the moment... and in the UK, they are circa ? 30K, which at todays exchange rate would be $ 55,700 AUD! Dealers in the UK have been instructed by LR that there will be NO discounts! So $49k AUD would be a bargain!

Great truck however... Mmmm, tempted here too, but they are selling out like hotcakes!!!

Add the Exchange rate difference the banks charge and its 57,281.

Don't mean to burst any ones bubble, but the new Prado is better value. And just as capable. Throw your money away if you need to, Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

No... But driving something more interesting than a toaster and having it hold its value that's worth it

Maybe you should buy one, Bob. They probably even have a gen chat section on Prado point or whatever it's called...

I haven't heard anything regarding numbers of either Heritage or Adventure with respect to the Aussie market. Has anyone heard anything with respect to what numbers we will get,...OFFICIALLY.
Like I said before, I've no knowledge on what's happening, but I did have another thought on price. The Heritage, as released in the UK, is apparently not particularly high spec, and as released over there, is priced around, maybe a lttle less, than UK's top spec Defender the XS. Now, our Defender is highly specced, pretty much like an XS, so on that basis, maybe the Heritge won't be much more than our "standard" Defender? Now I know this rationale probably won't stand up for whatever reason, but worth a thought?
And, the issue of non-availability of A.C. in the UK still remains,.....I believe ours will HAVE to have A.C.

I am sure you are right mate... I cannot imagine any car in 2015 being sold in OZ without AC!

But, in exchange, they will drop the 'standard' heated option seats I reckon!

    Ha!

Yes.. All European cars sold in OZ are 'highly specced' compared with cars sold in the UK or Europe. Cuise, a/c, etc etc are usually options up North!

OZ living does have many advantages!

    Cheers,

    Pete :>)
