    Storage Boxes - Defender 110

Picked up a pair of storage cases that fit EXACTLY in the back of the 110. 2 boxes width wise and exactly the height of the first step of the wheel arch. Best part is they are easily removed to save lugging around full time. And with a shelf across between the wheel arches the space will be further maximised.

They are a Pelican variety which were originally used for Minelab Detectors. Size is 840x440x180. Had them posted from OzMachinerySales in QLD. They are used and came pretty dirty, but gave them a good scrub and will touch up the latches etc with paint. They are a steal at $99each (compared to ~$250each new).

Hope this helps anyone looking for a simple storage solution.

    Cheers

    Tim

I assume they're hinged on the long edge. Do you have to drag them out to open?

I assume you are correct. So you would have to store stuff you do not need frequent access to, or say food and you slide the unit out for meal prep.

Yes hinged on the long side. I plan to use one for tools etc. which hopefully won't get used much. And the other for camp equipment which I can drag out when I setup - lights, pegs, ropes, etc. The beauty of the shelf means I can start easily stacking a new layer of excess crap I don't need to take.

Sorry I got the name wrong in fist post. It's oz machinery and equipment.

Here's the link direct to their website. Don't buy off ebay, as they are $10 more due to ebay fees.

You could measure and find a third box to fit in behind those two across ways for full use, if you can find the right size naturally
