What is in your picture looks like part number FTC5218 (clutch release guide).
When replacing the clutch fork make sure the little plastic clips are on properly, (they break easily too).
Regards,
Mike.
Edit: re; the ball that the clutch fork pivots on that I think that you are referring to,
It is just a pivot and locating point for the clutch fork, which is held in place at one end by the sliding metal bits (clutch release bearing pads) and one small plastic clip to hold the top pad in place, and at the other end held in by the clutch slave cylinder push rod and another small plastic clip that holds the ball end of the push rod in place to stop it falling out (this clip is a bit of a bugger and breaks easily).
Hope this helps.
Mike.

i am able to pull the ball joint that the clutch fork sits in,out. is this normal behavior or should i lock tight it in. is it buggered altogether and i need that whole new piece that goes over the shaft and connects to the wall of the bell housing. i hope i haven't been too confusing
