Awning without roof rack on 110

I always wanted an awning on my 110.

But I don't want to drive around all the time with my roof rack on, but I do want an awning all the time.

So today after a visit to Bunnings I have mounted brackets to the gutter and mounted the awning to the gutter

Cost a bit more, but if you don't want to drill your gutters, there are these clamp on ones.

I want to get an awning and don't want a roof rack, so I was thinking of something similar. Also, the awnings I've seen are pretty expensive and I won't be using it very often, so I reckon I'll make something up with a tarp, a couple of lengths of aluminium and a couple of tent poles. I already have the tent poles, ropes and pegs. I should be able to just roll up the tarp and strap it up with some heavy duty nylon straps (like the kind you have on roll up mattresses) when I'm driving. Anyone else done something like this?

I am the same but a company in Brisbane sells a 2.5m x 3m for $175. Down my research and good for the money. So that is the one I have.
Does not look or feel much difference to the ARB or TJM one

Sew a rope along one side of the tarp and slide it into the sail track.

    Here's my awning:

Just out of curiosity, what is the name of the company or the brand of the awning?
