Thinking of buying a dinitrol kit and applying

    Hi guys,

When I bought my 2013 model 110 I had a wax guard product applied to the chassis through Warrick farm Toyota. Not sure of its name but it looks like a wax coating.
Anyway 2 years down the line and I'm thinking of ordering a dinitrol car kit from amazon and applying it myself. Obviously I will gerni and steam clean the underside of the vehicle and then apply the products. It is a full system, there is a great YouTube clip detailing the process. Has anyone bought one of these kits and applied it?
I am paranoid with the thought of rust, and I intend to hang on to "Barry" (my beloved 110) for many many years to come.
    Any thoughts are appreciated.

I've been looking for some dinitrol also but can't find anyone who stocks in Aus. i even emailed the dinitrol supplier for this country but they don't supply the stuff we need, (dinitrol 4941, waxy for underbody) and (dinitrol 3125, more fluid for cavities).
if anyone knows how to get some i would up for a group buy

I have found it on eBay UK and amazon. The postage is a little dear, but I prefer that to a rust repair bill down the track

I could be wrong but when I was looking at buying dinitrol, I found that no one would ship it to Australia. That might have changed!

You can get this stuff from Sydney,

Dynax S50 | High Protection Rust Proofing Cavity Wax
Dynax-UB | Cavity Wax for high protection Rust Proofing

Some people say it's one of the best antirust coating out there.

You can get it from here,
PPCCO - Permanent Painted Coatings of Australia - The Restoration Specialist

I purchased a can of each and will hopefully have time to try it out soon.

I reckon if someone decided to specialize in rust proofing cars and knew all the areas to hit on a defender there would be a fair few people pay for the services.
I'd pay for someone who knew the best way to rust proof my defender tomorrow.

I've looked at rustproofing too, & if I was in the UK it would be a must, but living here, & not going off road very much, maybe not so much of a problem for us. Not saying it's not a worry, but just not as bad as the U.K.....also don't know anyone in Melbourne who does this stuff, and according to Def2, there are many "secrets" when trying to PROPERLY rustproof a defender in all the "RIGHT" spots.
Also, when trying to import the rustproofing product, I believe there may be customs issues in importing this type of stuff when it's not sold in Aus?

Looking on Defender2.net some posts compare Dinitrol to Tectyl. Tectyl is available In the Valvolene range. Supercheap and Autobarn sell the 400g aerosols and Blackwoods have 4l and 20l as well.
