    Hi Tombie,
Which frame isn't strong - the A pillar, or something else?
The A Pillar... Over time it will begin to flex.

I can see that accessing the Defender without side steps might well be an issue, particularly for those that are "less mobile" like me, but I would've thought, well at least on a standard height vehicle, if ya had the factory side runners, accessing the front, on the passenger side, where there is a grab handle/bar for one to grab hold of, all would be well.

Be easier to swap the passenger for an updated 190 cm blonde model and keep the Puma standard
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

I think a lot of it is muscle memory...

An "I always get into vehicles this way..." style of thinking...

No one should complain about getting into a defender until they've tried to gracefully enter a lotus elise. Not an easy task!

Climbing into a Defender is easy, and far less of a work out than a 785 or Dozer
