    Puma oil top up

Does anyone know what engine oil 2.2 Pumas come with? I need maybe a litre for a top up after 3500 km. I did a search but came up with lots of other stuff.

The correct oil for Australian, non-DPF 2.2 puma's as specified by Land Rover is Castrol Edge Professional A5, 5w30. Catalogue number 3377780. The A5 spec is important
The smallest drums it comes in are 20L.

For a small top up, Id ask the dealer. Or if that fails you should be able to get away with just Castrol Edge 'Diesel' 5w30 (not A5 spec but fine for a top up)

    Cheers

I like to use Total Quartz 9000 Future NFC A5W-30
It satisfies the Ford WSS/M2C913 B/C requirement for non DPF

Fraction of the cost of the Castrol product

I just bought my new Puma 2.2, so this is something I need to know too. What is the difference between the two oils?
    Cheers

Fraction of the cost? Im only paying about $11/litre for the castrol stuff, pretty good price I thought!

I paid about $450 for a 20l drum. That was a while ago as I wanted to use the LR Castrol oil for intermediate service for warranty reasons. Ive now switched to Total which was $6.50 a liter in 5 litre packs, last time I bought. The fraction is about a 1/2 what you are paying or about 1/4 of what I used to pay for Castrol equivalent

    That also suits 2.7 D4,and 2.4 Puma.

    Must have no DPF.
