    Wash + wax = Discovery
Knock of chunks that can hurt others + stand back and admire ruggedness = Defender/ 110/130.
    Cheers, BDave.

Given the amount of benevolence that I've seen on this sight, I'm sure you would get plenty of interest. Bear in mind that the greatest problem the third world has is the first word trying to solve it's problems.

In fact I have to do it again today after a but of damp clay yesterday. I covered half the street in mud last time, so have to come up with another plan.

    Hi Jeff.
To wash under your Defender, Take a high volume lawn sprinkler, place it on the ground and drive over it until the mud stops falling off.

Drive through an automatic truck wash, it leaks occasionally but washes all the panels
My only negative is there was no 9.00 R16 or 255/100 R16 on the tyre placard that the older series 3 one tons had as an option , as that would be perfect. If anybody knows of one I'd be interested

...First world problem indeed. Not withstanding the fact that Defenders are meant to get dirty!

The greatest problem for the third world is the first world waging war, greed, exploitation and lack of human empathy for refugees!

Whether this is a negative thing about Defenders is another matter which would require extensive research into origins of raw materials used to make them and the employment practices in factories making them. I cast no judgement on this having no knowledge whatsoever of either of these, but it is something I would like to know more about...

Both of ours got washed this weekend. Mine got washed while I was unhooking the kayak trailer when we got home from picking up and testing our new kayaks. I got a free wash at the same time .

Pocket Rockets got washed today because it was to windy to open the gates when we got home from the gym today.

    Job done.

I washed one today while I tried to dry out the other. Wifey and I went away for a funeral and stayed a couple of days. At two one morning I woke up and remembered I had left the window open on the one at home, and I knew Sydney was bucketing down. Wifey didn't appreciate being woken by my swearing.

Apparently there's some people out there that think a Defender is meant to be shiny.
