Heh Landybitz.
How about a special buy? (3 of us potentially interested).
How many orders for a reasonable discount? (not trying to hit your margin, but save on shipping. Deal?)
(I visited the SD guys some years ago. Their stuff is grouse)

Hi Karlz
We can get some very good discounts with larger orders, all depends on quantity. Normally 5 or more give a good discount for both seller and buyer.
Ideally SD would like to supply just 3 types of cages for the AU market.
Having met with there MD over here, they are also willing to look into the possible funding of type approval for some of these cages we would also add to this, ideally who ever purchase any of the 3 would more or less get free certification, fitting is different and as a guide can be nearly the same cost as a cage, just have a look at there fitting times 16plus hours for some cages.
Once done then it never needs to be done again, certification will apply to a number of states not all, fitting however must be under taken by a certified workshop for it to be legal.
As an example the new 200 Series Land Cruiser is now approved for the full internal/external SD cage, this is a AU wide cert, so they see no major issues with this process.
I think I remember the 110s being about 5k +/- for cage is that correct? so close to 10k possibly?
