Scangauge 3 added. Impressed with its speed and quality. The magnetic mount wouldn't hold it on a corrugated road I suspect.

Decided to advertise it for sale…
It’s a shed trophy since December, gets started and a lap around town, a wash and then back to the workshop for another month.
Would like to keep it however it’s a selfish like. Someone will get a bloody nice vehicle with quite a few upgrades yet very subtle in its execution.
Mrs Tombie is very attached to her RRS now, so time to move the 90 “Ike” on to someone else who is enthusiastic.
And they’ll want to be, we won’t be giving ‘him’ away - top condition, quality mods and install will come at a premium.
Then the wife can get her house renovation [emoji3526]
Spent the arvo trying to find the source of increasingly loud squeaking and creaking noises that had gone beyond merely annoying and had started to become "if I have to listen to this any longer, it's gonna tip me over the edge!"
Both noises were coming from behind the dash/driver's footwell and I was convinced the bonnet hinge was to blame, however a quick trip down the driveway with the bonnet off proved that to be incorrect, so I started to look elsewhere.
The higher pitched squeaking I found relatively quickly and was actually the brake line that goes to the front right wheel. There's a clip for this on the footwell and the brake line must have moved slightly off its normal resting position enough to cause a high pitched squeak as it vibrated in the clip. Cleaning everything and moving back to what looked like it's usual position sorted that one out.
The creaking was evident on body lean/twist so I started looking at suspension components and rocking the car from side to side. Narrowed this one down to the anti-roll bar bush attachment point on the chassis, right underneath the driver's footwell! Undid the bolts attaching the bush to the chassis and bingo, creak gone!
Another clean (wipe with an oily rag...) around the anti-roll bar, made sure the rubber bush moved smoothly, refitted and job done.
Stress levels and driving enjoyment much improved!
Noticed the front diff had started weeping oil and leaving small drops on the floor, so I started cleaning it up expecting to need to replace the pinion seal.
Instead I found all of the bolts attaching the diff housing to the axle tube were loose, which is a bit worrying. But on the plus side, the pinion seal is fine!
I added this plaque to the rear and think it looks great!

Scangauge 3 update. Very pleased, doesn’t move and rock solid mount. No xgauges come up on auto search but you can programme them in so I added Cylinder Head Temp. Anyone know alarm high for CHT?
