It's been a while for me too.
Today I made a new bodgy (AKA) prototype door handle. The factory one nudged my knee slightly and it eventually became a kind of Guantanamo torture session. I'll send it off to my leather wiz brother in Toowoomba. He'll make a shmicko job of it, I'm sure.
Same problem here!
I’m having them made in Paracord
I've been installing this before work the last week or so.
Dual battery setup and an in car rear air bag adjustment and gauge.
A decent amount of work involved... more than I was thinking anyways.
Took it out and used it [biggrin]
Headed down to Willis in Friday night, drove up to Native dog via Macfarlaines and Cobberas tracks then up to Charlies creek for a couple of nights. Went down to Kings plain fopr a swim on Sunday and then came home via Buckwong to Tom Groggin and back to Yass via Tumbarumba and the Hume this afternoon. Met some nice people from the LROCV at the top of the hill at Kings plains too.

Or you could get a set of these:
Nakatenenga Leather Door Handle - Interior Accessories - Products
Or just measure mine up. [thumbsupbig]
However you do it, highly recommended mod - much more comfy on a long trip.
Cheers,
Jon
Coberras isn't too bad, there's some scalloping on the last bit of the descent down to the Ingegoobee river which would make it interesting going up in the other direction and the steep rocky climb after the Cowombat flat gate is reasonably challenging. I needed a tug up it but a couple of Disco 4s on the trip got up OK on their own.

Thanks. We’ve only got time for a short trip this Easter so thought the Davies High Plain area might be the go. I’m hoping that the track up from Tom Groggin still being closed may mean it’s a little less crowded than usual. If time permits I’d like to get down to MacFarlanes Hut too as I haven’t been there for years - I remember that climb near the gate being a bit of a challenge in the D3.
Oh, and what I did to my Puma on the weekend was to start fitting my new winch.
Cheers,
Jon
