    Great looking lights.

    Hi Mike;

Great photos and they look fantastic. I contacted their web site re the expected date for release of the front lights, so I could purchase as a package, but they’ve not replied back which is fairly disappointing considering the pice they're asking plus postage.

I didn't think the dark lenses would come up as well as they have on your 90. Are you happy with their fit-finish and most importantly, their output?

Ive decided to do some tidying up of my electrical aftermarket wiring-fuse boxes etc, so purchased a Redarc Redvision Prime outfit that I will probably fit into my left hand gull wing box, so while the vehicle is off the road due to waiting for the modified instrument cluster to be finished via Les Richmond Automotive.

Its looking a bit sad inside my Defender right now!😳

I hope this finds you well mate.

    Ken.

Still working on the vehicle at the moment (Crib break update).

Will post more once finished / fully connected.

I’ve also gone for what they refer to as the “Modern” fitment as opposed to the “Classic” - you’ll see when it’s done What did you do to your Puma today?

    Redarc TVMSKIT05

Since I’ve the vehicle pulled apart, I’m finding the two power distribution units that I have a bit clumsy, and not that user friendly, so I bit the bullet and purchased a flash Redarc TVMSKIT05 charger, power distribution unit and screen. The price was reasonable @ $2500 delivered which was the best on the internet.

Im looking into mounting it all (possibly not the screen) in my left side gull wing pending test fitting and how creative Im feeling. The unit will also charge my Lithium house battery which I connect all accessories to with a triggered live.

Im pretty excited with this mod and looking forward to laying it all out-removing my internal accessory electrical set up and seeing how it works out in the gull wing. That will give me recovery gear in the right side, and domestic electrics in the left box.

    More to follow.👍

I installed a new Camshaft Position Sensor, the old one having expunged its colon and prevented the motor from starting. I ordered it from LRparts in the UK. It was in my hand in four days along with small packet of Hairdo Starmix jubes and a flat lolly in the shape of a Land Rover, which I couldn't bite and tasted terrible, but what a nice surprise.
    Cheers, Billy.

Update: It would seem that the old CPS unit had been feeding the ECU false and misleading information for some time prior to doing the full dump in the pantaloons. A lot of the issues, minor but confusing and worrying have vanished. Things like: The odd hesitation to accelerate, excessive black smoke when loading the engine and charged air hiss. All the while the ECU recorded no fault until the death.
    Cheers, Billy.

Been a while since I put anything in here…

So the 90 is still going strong, just a few little upgrades here and there.

Back area and Roof have been sound / heat insulated for quite some time now and the difference is noticeable. Next phase is seat box/firewall and front doors.

In the meantime with the D4 occupying the workshop only a few small mods have been completed.

The key one so far is new Glohh lights. The rears are done, the fronts just released and are in transit.

We also Glohh updated the RRS a while back!

You do such nice work Mike. I feel deep shame whenever I see it. Mine does all the work and gets food and water with the occasional Bandaid. It's starting to show now.
    Cheers, Billy.

    Glohh fronts going in.
    Along with Homage Main lights.

We run FYRLYT for driving, so kept to the 3000k (yellow end) to keep the contrast when driving.

But you won’t miss the parking lights!

    Hi Tombie,

What are you impressions on the Stedi Homage 3000k lights on their own?

The only LED light I've experienced are cheap and nasty, and I find the very white light unpleasant, I assume that's CRI you often talk about.

    Hi Tony

Until yesterday I had the “spider eye” style units - was never really impressed by the look or performance, however they were better than factory and less stress on the Switch!

The new Homage are now fitted, I didn’t get a chance to take the vehicle out the workshop though - that’ll have to come later in the week.

It’s different, the light projected on the toolboxes was good, and nice on the eyes with the yellow tinge.

    I’ll let you know!
