If the Tdci is the same as the Tdi, the reason for the damp smell is the rubber duck bill drain at the bottom of the plastic intake duct gets clogged very easy and then water sits in the duct. If you havent cleaned the duct and the rubber drain that should be done. Then since you have changed the "stupid, to outside weather, vent" you should not have a problem.

Recently did the same, air quality is fine, air quantity has reduced with the fan off. Very little airflow through the vents now except oddly when overtaking semi trailers, get a blast of air through the vents as I'm along side, must be something to do with the way the trucks displace the air.

Should keep the leaves out of the vent, so that's good.

Nice and simple bit of kit!
Still to do the gear box breather though.

Painted Door lever trim and double din

I’m very happy with this, it really breaks up the black interior.

I went through a reasonable bit of effort this morning to get one side rear suspension changed. To discover once completed that I was missing some bits. Part my fault for not knowing, but sucks that’ll I have to do it all again... And have to wait until Monday to get the rest of the bits required.
In the old setup I had retained springs so didn’t need the top or bottom plates. But now with longer springs I’m not retaining them so the air bags need the top and bottom plates.
My old setup has sagged and eventually put a hole in the air bag.

Seems like a weird thing to use in an extinguisher especially on a car fire given aluminium body and magnesium wheels are common place. I've not seen these used. Just seems strange.

Hey Dan can you give me an idea of the depth of the pockets on the Tuff-trek pouches?
Just wondering how much thicker it effectively makes the back door and whether there'll be enough room between the door and my homemade drawers for them to fit.
    Cheers!
