At last an awning narrow enough for the rear of the Defender (1.4m wide by 2.0 m long).

fitted BAS intercooler, hoses and re-map, took about 3 hours last night.
drivability is much better and the acceleration is a bit alarming!
I really need to look at more than just the Defender page!
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Clancy MY15 110 Defender
Clancy's gone to Queensland Rovering, and we don't know where he are
Hi Andy,
I got the 170 and BAS had a deal where they send 150 too. They also sent an exchange unlocked ECU so i was only off the road for a few hours - brilliant service!
I flashed the 170 on (obviously), and am still trying to think of a reason i'd use the 150...
I have done cat back high flow exhaust after squashing the oem muffler.
is is noisy without the cat? I worry about droning noise down the highway.
cheers, dan
You should. There are some really good builds in there (and mine).
Yours has obviously been an interesting build so it would be good to read about it from the beginning in detail - it all adds to the aulro body of knowledge. I've also found creating a thread has been an interesting way of recording what's been done. Although I haven't done much to mine it's been interesting to look back from time to time to see where it all started and to see how much the little modifications have improved the overall experience, as well as how much pleasure I've got from Defender ownership.
Cheers,
Jon
It doesn't have to be complicated - mine is pretty modest - but even a basic approach can help others to get going.
Ken. Break out the Visa mate...
