I wouldn't pay 0.45 gorillas for a second filter with no primer but my 2.4 that lacks a priming pump has loved the Parker/racor priming and water sep filter I've put inline before the OEM

Water in dieso and bugs in dieso is common up here - leave 50L of dieso in a closed airtight drum and it will be sludge in 3 months.

Parker/Racor P4 unit is a nice addition to the 130
Have installed water in fuel and primer switch at dash to the right

Another option over the dieselcare option

Dunno mate,I even bought a finer filter that I've never used because I've never had to,must be a Cooktown thing .Does that big arse groper still live under the jetty?,many moons ago I laughed my head off when three Aboriginal kids hooked it on a heavy hand line and pulled the first two into the drink, the third one was smart enough to let the line go. I've had crook water logged diesel from many places north of Townsville over the years
I guess the humidity doesn't help - either way having a water in fuel alarm plus now having a priming pump for OEM filter changes and other fuel related issues is a plus.

There is a family of groper around the wharves these days, of an afternoon high tide one of the restaurants puts on a feeding which is amazing to see barrel sized thumpers slurping mackerel frames out of the hand!

Pre Factory filter 5 micron deisel fuel filter.

G'day fellas.I had mine fitted as who knows when you will get crook fuel.
I've never had bad deisel before, however, it's one less issue I need to worry about. Now to fit my shinny blue silicone intercooler hoses next. I've got a bit of a mental blank on this easy job. Funny how some tasks require more energy than others.
    Best wishes all.

I called redarc and they said it happens on start up. Can you point me in the right direction to what you did in the set up/programming? i would love to not have it as its 4-5 beeps

I had a feeling you might ask, you will have to run through the setup sequence again(using the red push button switch) I ran through the guide again and that fixed the problem.

    Here is the setup guide

    Silblade Wiper Blades

Just a small thing today, I received my Silblade wiper blade replacements from Amazon UK. Cheapest I could find re postage, for three blades.
Here's the link to the Mud UK page for this product.
    Silblade? Silicone Wiper Blades
Supposed to last a few years vs months, and with the Northern wet upon us, I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform.
They are patented, and apparently the best blades available for our trucks.
    Best wishes all.

I got my 130 back today after having it in at Hunter Landrover Newcastle for the past week after I made a warranty claim in regards to the amount of backlash it was developing, they replaced the shims in my transfer box and two new drive shafts and then Striped down the rear diff. My 130 is now tighter than a nuns belly button. It drives better than new, I didn't think a defender could be so tight and smooth. I couldn't stop driving her around today after picking her up. They gave me a new Disco sports as a curtesy car. Nice but I was over it with in a day. Just too much bling. The chief mechanic really knows his Landy's and was a pleasure to deal with.

Improved awning and maxtrax mounting, all below the top of the rack now.

Plus some ****ty wiring repaired. Do auto-sparkies even like cars?
