Got the kit from APT, but it realllly didn't want to fit as the recovery eyes were poking too far out and hitting the bulbar. The only way to mount was to press against the bulbar a little but this left a gap between the mounting plates and chassis. (Ben at APT said they are all one size so it must be my chassis thats out of line)
So, after a bit of head scratching and measuring I got a bloke around the corner from a local fabricator to do me up 2 steel plates (one 8mm thick and one 10mm thick) to sit as spacers between the mounts and chassis. Gave them a lick of paint slotted in between and the rest worked out pretty well!
Side steps originally took about 45 mins to get off due to where the bolts fit, fortunately only took about 10 mins to put them back on! :)
Oh, and finally I found a solution I was happy with for keeping rods on the roof, Berkley twist lock rod holder from BCF permanently fixed to the rack[thumbsupbig]
I had the same problem. I fitted the guard before I had the bar and it was fine. When the bar was fitted the guard wouldn't go back on and needed some spacers:Quote:

My theory is its not the chassis, but the fit between the body and the chassis which is a bit vague. My bar is perfectly aligned with the body but about 10mm off centre on the chassis.
