Have you tried turmeric lattes? The yellow is a bit off-putting.

I did it to my 85 county about 18 years ago and it doesn't seem to have caused any problems it is still running on the original cv's.

    Bottom Intercooler hose

Well, today I swallowed hard and demolished my right side of the engine plumbing so as to fit my BAS Silicone bottom hose.
Ive followed Mitch's' how to post on his thread which helped greatly.
I had bugger all room to wrangle the hose off at the Turbo end, so I cut it away which made life easier.
Jeez, you really get to note the poor sealing of the air intake plastic plumbing through to the air box.
Ill certainly be modding with the Nugget Stuff air box kit which I just purchased. I wouldn't trust the OEM plastic pipe to not let copious dust and water in, and you can tell by the residue in the air box.
Oh Yeah, the bottom intercooler hose mod is officially a mongrel of a job, certainly made easier in cooler weather!

Wire winch cable replaced with Dynema

In my quest to keep the weight of my truck under some type of control, I've just purchased 30m of 10mm Dynema rope and Alloy hawser to replace the wire cable and roller fair lead on my Warn Magnum 10K winch.
Should be about a 15 - 20kg weight saving off the front end including the fairlead assemble, and obviously a lot easier to handle than the steel cable.
As Dynema doesn't like direct sun, Im going to fit some sort of Wet suit material over the exposed cable drum.
Pics to follow once I receive it all in the mail.
    Have a great Easter everyone.

Nugget Stuff Rear Disk Shield supports

Seeing as I've got the truck off the road while I wait for Nuggets Air intake kit (and a new set of BAS Silicone intercooler hoses, cut the wrong end didn't I&#128563 I thought I'd rip the rear wheels off and fit the disk shield stiffeners.
An easy job. I thought about giving them the Toxic Avenger treatment, but I'm the only one who lives here and I would have been ****ed at myself for cleaning and baking the shields in my own kitchen!
    Happy Easter everyone.
    P.S, this isn't how I fitted them!

    Bloody Warn Winch water ingress.

Not meaning to patronise anyone, but I just rotated the clutch housing on my Warn Magnum 10K Winch, due to the clutch lever interfering with my bash plate. Couldn't rotate it after fitting the new bash plate recently. (Thanks for the tip Toxic!)
Water dripped out of the supposedly sealed gear housing, approx a half cup or so.
I removed the gear housing and there's not much decent grease in there, and a moderate amount of surface rust.
So, I've filled the gear housing with copious high pressure, temp grease and will reassemble tomorrow.
Moral of this story, if you have a Warn Winch and it's been a while since you've repacked the grease and or inspected the gear cluster, it would probably be in your best interest to do so, so as to prevent failure when you need it.
I'll give mine a complete service in the not to distant future.
Hope this is of assistance to some one.
    Ken
