						Mapping has been installed, Wow!
Driving back home the truck performed like the trailer was not even hooked up, very happy with that.
The real test for me would be Henry Roberts Drive. Normally i need to put the truck in 2nd to get up the first pinch of the Drive. This afternoon we did the whole hill without dropping below 3rd, very impressed.
Looking forward to taking her for a run without the trailer attached.
Very happy with the whole Maptec experience, got what they said i would get. All i wanted was the truck to drive like it does without the trail hitched.
Cheers
Dave

SubscriberStuck a snow cowl on (hopefully get less puddles in the passenger footwell) and changed the wing mirrors for bigger, convex mudstuff jobbies. I can actually see whats behind me now. Recommend them, good bit of kit.
Put a new clutch master cylinder in (that was fun) and bled the system. Will find out if ive got any leaks tomorrow when its light.
Laid noise insulation from Car Builders under the mats up front on the firewall and floor and in the rear. Just cut to size with scissors, peel off the back and stick it down.
Don't have a noise meter, but it has definitely muffled the higher decibel sounds and made the floor softer.
I used a waterproof single cell insulation designed for 4 WDs. I have also fitted a insulation sheet under the bonnet.
If you're interested just search Car Builders.

I installed a drop slide for my fridge and re-organised the interior storage.

Left the Tardis at home for the day and rode the motorbike to work.

Installed a Terrafirma storage locker in the rear wheel arch. Makes one pretty nervous, cutting great big holes in one's car.
Decided to put my recovery gear in there as it often arrives back in the car wit 3 kilos of wet mud, gravel, sand and dust. Note to self: drill drain hole in locker.
