    Yeah, gotta be careful as it can be hard to predict when the ropes are needed. The incident I saw the air was still when they went to bed, so they didn't bother pegging it. During the night the wind came up strongly and next thing the whole awning bent over the Prado. Totally wrecked.

    Echo 270 deg Awning from Sydney 4x4 Accessories

    Hi PETER.
    As per the title details.
    They are South African. I'm getting mine fitted in Airly Beach tomorrow.
    I'll post photos when I get back.
    The Airly Beach retailer is Whitsunday European Prestige. Great people to deal with and Defender owners. They are also going to fit my gull wing Windows which the sell as well.

    Yesterday: Heavy duty wheel hubs and 270 deg Awning

    Yesterday I drove down to Airly Beach (1200 return) and had heavy duty wheel hubs and the brilliant Echo 270 deg awning fitted by Mark and Anna at Whitsunday European Prestige.
    More than happy with both the service and end result.
    Highly recommended.

    Today: LED Wipac side lights and LED flasher unit

    Today, I fitted my LED side lights and flasher unit. Way better looking than OEM and brighter, immediate light output.
    Wipac is about the best brand out there.

    You can get them via Ebay. Search ARB bullbar LED lights.
    Theres a bit of crap out there, so just ensure you research them. Mine is both indicator and running light.

    Did you fit a new special LR relay to accommodate for the LED lights?
    Also - did you purchase them from eBay?

    I have read elsewhere that the Wipac ones are the best.

    Hi Mike.
    Yes, a Wipac LED flasher relay was also supplied, I swapped the old one out so all works as it should.
    I buy my lights etc from MPS Trading in the UK via EBay.
    Excellent service and fair prices.
