What did you do to your Puma today?

Have a huge pile of parts to be fitted, figured I better get onto it so I can hand the vehicle back to Mrs Tombie and get my D4 back off of her What did you do to your Puma today?

Pulled the air intake system out - all in one piece What did you do to your Puma today?
Fitting the Nugget Stuff intake and Airbox as well as a Snorkel.

Pulled the factory aerial out and fitted a GME helical whip for the radio.

Finished fitting the Optimill rear light and reverse camera.

This will be paired with the Double Din console, EGT and Boost Gauge, Custom switches, additional USB sockets etc. Then it’s fit the Billet Windscreen washer upgrade before reassembling.

After that will work on finalising the sound deadening, Finish the custom wiring fit out and should be good to go.

    Sil Tanks

    Long Range Australia through TJM.
Right side is 65l, Left side is 55l, rear Long Ranger tank via ARB is 127l.
Both sil tanks have their own pump which transfers into the main.

Can I ask what double DIN you are looking at? Also, what will the washer upgrade do in regards to water placement or is it more of a cosmetic thing?

I have an Alpine unit, I’ll get the number off it when I get home. It’s not the top of the line unit, just a nice integration of CarPlay.

The washer sprays are both cosmetic and performance - they look good and put a much better spray onto the glass.

Cheers. Did you have a look at the head units which fold out: AVH-Z7050BT - Pioneer

I'm guessing the Alpine unit would be a straight unplug old/plug in new arrangement.

I did, having had fold out units before they can suffer greatly when shaken around for hours, and the obstruction of the other controls just becomes a pain.

The unit we purchased was based on being mechless and having enough feature set eg Power output, CarPlay etc.

I also went with the console with adjustable centre vents as that’s a bonus.

Made it work, super and Calciprill Time at the farm. 1 tonne on the trailer and a tonne on the tray. Was a fairly steady trip out there.
