Added a drop down table to rear door card. Was only $60 from aliexpress and although for a Jeep was no problem to fit with small mods (eg I used the rivnuts reversed as flange nuts instead of rivnuts).
Very happy.

SupporterTried to start the 2008 Puma but the starter motor has packed up, it sounds like a bag of nails. The annoying think about this, is that when I first heard an odd warning from the starter motor a few weeks ago I took it too a local garage and let them hear it. I asked them to phone me when they could fit it in. No call back and now she is nose into a wall.
Over here it would be illegal to fit the side facing seats to a Puma. I like the fold down table.
Added Stedi lights to the rear. I think they are only 0.8A draw from memory so didn't worry about a relay. Just go on when reverse engaged same as camera.

Tonight putting Merc vents in.... dremel getting put to good work out. The factory fiesta ones have a stupid removable tab and of course one is missing on one vent and this constantly triggers me.

I been having some whining in what I 1st thought was my GB but as time went on I started to wonder if it was the TC. On my last trip I developed a Oil leak between the GB and TC which pointed to the rear GB seal, so over the last 6mths or more I've been buying parts - a rebuild kit for the TC, an updated version of the Ashcroft Adaptor Shaft; Ashcroft ATB; Rear main GB seal and other bits and pieces...
Well this was the week that a good mate could help me with the Removal; reconditioning and install of the ATB... finished late today with a few little annoying issues (new CDL switch ended up having to be spaced out to allow ATB CDL to engage).
Tomorrow take it for a test drive to see if noise/whine has fully gone (Intermediate shaft bearings had started to collapse) and see if all goes well.
Things done:
Full reconditioning of TC including installing as Ashcroft ATB
The car already had the 1st version of the Ashcroft Adaptor Shaft (Silver version) but thought it would be also a good time to update that to the latest RED version.
Installed new Transmission Brake Shoes
New Rear Main MT82 GB oil seal
New CDL Switch (both the CDL and the High/Low Switches failed - didn't both with the H/L switch as I disconnected that some time ago)
Went to visit our daughter for the weekend. As you can see there are always a few jobs to do. Yep another couple of days on a mattress on the floor...
Job done. Dremel was a great Xmas present from the missus.
