Well, I got to see the fitted tank on Saturday

Extremely neat the way the brackets hold it in place and the rolled edge looks neater the then sharp corners that some steel sill tanks have.
I discussed my preferred fill method for fuel of using the original filler and will look into how a pipe could be plumbed to suit.
I've got an idea for a neat, out of the way setup but want to do some more investigating and discuss it with Andrew first.
Protecting the elbow, if used would be simple as mounting points for a protective panel can be fitted.
I had a look at the cross section cut of from the first trial, very consistent thickness and I think it will be up to the task for my intended purposes.
I'm keen for a water tank as a priority and have offered my rig for test fitting.
Now all we need is a few more members who are keen.
If we played our cards right tax refunds would appear as the tanks are ready

To get in on the action
