Question "Metal Replacements" of Defender Cowl (MTC2808) & Instrument Panel (MTC5458)?

    Guys,

I've got my '95 Defender Dash fully apart and as with most Defenders, my Instrument Panel is stuffed and rear Cowl is not in good shape, so I thought while everything is apart that maybe I should look at Replacing both and bringing it all back to nice and new looking.

I'm wanting the Metal aftermarket ones but I'm unsure where to source them from and what the actual part numbers are for the Metal versions..... Are they the same as the original ones (MTC2808 and MTC5458)?

What would one expect to pay for these 2 pieces? $200 > $300 or more?

any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm running out of time a bit to get it ready for a hopefully upcoming trip in October....

APT, aussie mob makes them. I got mine from there and it fitted perfectly.

    APT Binnacle Mount | Defender

This binnacle is fibreglass, and there are two types for the Defender. I haven't got one yet, but at the rate the lugs on mine are breaking, it won't be long.

Just got my new raptor engineering binnacle today. Bought it from British offroad $183.75 inc shipping. Took a couple months to get it though. Already own the Raptor steel mount. Looks great.

I did come across APT's Binnacle Mount and it's about $50 cheaper than what British offroad quoted but my concern is would it bolt up neatly with the Raptor Front Instrument panel as well..... or do I just buy both from British Offroad and save from having any potential problems ???

Thanks for the replies.... Ended up driving up to British Offroad and just buy the Instrument Panel & Rear Cowl.... Now just find some time to install.

I assume it's a fairly basic job to do?
